Due to health concerns I'd never bought a non-stick pan until these "green" ones came out. It seems the surface of these is basically glass, with no chemicals.



This is a sturdy and attractive pot that heats quickly. I bought it mostly for boiling milk, especially skim milk, which sticks like a son of a gun with stainless steel.



No stick with this pot. The rounded upper edge facilitates pouring. Frustration turned to joy.

My mom has had a saucepan like this since she got it for a wedding present sixty plus years ago. Unfortunately the handle on hers had broken and she was thrilled I was able to find a replacement through Amazon since none of her local stores currently carry the Revere Ware line. The copper cladding on the new one looks the same as the old one though after sixty years of hard use the original may have been thicker at one point. The only difference we could see was the new product was made in Indonesia and the older one was not marked so I presume was manufactured in the US.

Like many companies these days, Revere cut some corners to save costs with this pan. The copper is not as thick and the pot has an overall "lite weight" feeling to it. Not my father's pot but I am using it as a second 2-quart pan so I will only be utilizing occasionally.

The seller was quick and purchase arrived in excellent shape. However, I was disappointed with the product, not the seller. I ordered this saucepan as a replacement for an old Revere Ware pot I had for a long time. The difference between the old one and the new one is obvious. The new Revere Ware is not as sturdy, or as heavy as the original pot. It feels like a thinner pot with less copper on the bottom. So, would I buy Revere Ware again? Probably not. That's a shame. It used to be such a good name in cookware.

I have now been using one or both of these pans on a daily basis for almost a year. They are easy to clean and the finish has not chipped (I usually use bamboo or wooden utensils to stir), even though I have gone shopping and seen similar pots on sale unused with chips. I do use a "flame tamer" when making rice or things that are thick such as chili so that the food on the bottom doesn't brown or burn--the pans are one thickness and get too hot on the bottom without the flame tamer. But the pans are fine used alone when I cooking soups or vegetables. These pans provide an economical and useful tool for those who want to avoid using aluminum or even stainless steel pots, which is why I switched. They come without lids, but I prefer Corning glass lids and have them already in sizes that fit the pans. I also bought a larger one of these graniteware pots; it came with a matching lid, but I prefer to use the glass one instead.

For new people: This takes a while to heat up & you do not need to start it on high heat. OY! Save on the electric!

Any "shadows" or marks on the pan can be removed with vinegar after washing by hand if anyone still does that.

This is the PERFECT small saucepan. It's the right size for sauce or anything that comes in a can (take it from a bachelor). The finish looks great, and it comes right out of the dishwasher (big plus) looking just like it did when you got it out of the box. Handle stays cool even with the burner turned up. Lid fits very well, so no spills and faster cooking. Also, the lid doesn't have that annoying lip that traps condensation so that you can't put it down on the counter. It's REALLY durable. I've had this pan (as well as the 2 qt. covered saucepan and the 1.5 qt. covered saucepan) now for a few months and I'm completely satisfied with them. They just don't ever require any amount of time when washing and, the water beads up on them making it super easy to dry with a dish towel. These pans may be a might expensive but they're worth every penny as they are very well made. Compared to the old pans I got rid of, these pans heat food much faster and water comes to a boil in no time at all (I have a glass top range). I'm now considering getting the 1 qt. open saucepan to use for gravies and other small cooking jobs. These pans will last me for the rest of my life and it's a pleasure to use them. Oh, they're also heavy enough where they don't spin around on the stove top. If you're in the market for quality cookware, do not hesitate to go with Anolon Advanced.



I did purchase the 1 qt. open saucepan and it is perfect for preparing/heating up small food quantities -- am happy I added this to my saucepan set! NOTE: The lid that comes with the 1.5 qt. saucepan fits perfectly on the 1 qt. open saucepan.

Everyone seems to recommend flat bottom pans for use on glass top stoves. We checked the net, local stores and finally decided on the Anolon 3 1/2 quart sauce pan. Best pan we ever purchased (No, we have no interest of any type with this product). We use the pan for pasta and most everything else requiring that size pan and it's great, NO Sticking so far.



The negative side is it's expensive and has an engineering flaw in the absence of a helper handle. I am in my late 70s and it almost too much for me to lift a full boiling pot.

I've had this pan for a couple of years now and I think it is the best pan I've ever owned. I paid a lot more for it at Macy's ($80)and would have purchased it through Amazon if I'd known there would be such a big difference in price. After 2 years of use the coating still looks like new, no scratches, and I've had excellent performance. I like the pour spouts on the pan and the holes in the lid act as strainers. The silicon on the handles help provide some insulation from heat as well as prevent slipping in your hand. It's easy to clean and heavy enough to stir without worrying about the pot moving around on the burner. I like it so much I'm looking for some more of this collection to buy, hoping the saute pans will give as good a performance as this pan has. Even at the higher price, I think it was well worth the cost. It's just a great pan!

This is a very poor imitation of what used to be the valued and respected Revere ware of years ago. Interior is pitting after only several weeks of use and the metal is so thin that the bottom stamp shows on the inside bottom. Revere Copper Clad Bottom 1-Quart Saucepan I have used our old complete set of Revereware pots and pans since I was married many years ago and they are ALL still good. I've never had to replace any until recently when the cost of a new handle for a small sauce pan was almost as much as a new pan. Even the handle on the new pan has no screws to remove or replace it.

I've been using this pot (3qt size) for about three weeks now and couldn't be happier with it. A problem I had been having with my current, lesser quality pots is that they wouldn't lie flat on my glass top electric stove and would heat unevenly and even rock back and forth as they heated.



This pot is SUCH a difference! First of all, it's much heavier than my other pots, but not at all unwieldy. The bottom has stayed perfectly flat and conducts heat into the interior quickly and efficiently. I can boil water twice as fast in this pot than my other ones. Besides boiling water, I've also used this pot for browning meat, and food doesn't stick (although there is NO teflon or other nonstick coating).



The handle is riveted on and stays cool. The lid, however, gets hot and requires a pot holder for handling. All in all, I love this pot and want to save up to get other sizes!

Although very well built of quality materials, the shape of the handle left a lot to be desired. It was so narrow that it felt as if I had little "control" of the pan once in my hand.



And I found that I prefer my saucepan having a 4 1/2 qt capacity instead of just 4 qts.

Love this pan. Bought this pan a few years ago and we use it for everything. It still looks new after years of use. Perfect size to cook a small meal. I purchased another one recently because one was not enough.

Beautiful and light weight. My only surprise was the size. It's 1.5 quarts right to the top. 'My' other smaller pans seem to have an extra half quart I've gotten use to having for boiling room. This line seems to be fantastic at conducting heat. I've got a large dutch oven from the same line. I scorched it pretty good the first time I used it. With steel wool and a lot of elbow grease it didn't look too bad. Two or three uses and washings later it looked brand new! So I now use lower cooking temps and have NO problems.

Consider the sizing and cooking tempertures and you can't go wrong.

This saucepan is a good buy. The weight is very good and the heat seems to be evenly distributed. I also purchased the matching 8" fry pan and I enjoy using both of them. The price of the Cuisinart is about mid-level and a good value for the product.
