We have several t-fal pans. After 5-6 years of usage, the 10" one needed replacement, so I ordered this Premiere pan. It looks very-very good, it's made in France and more, it works as expected. The non-adhesive interior is unbelievable. Water in this pan looks like Mercury if you've seen some, it just does not adhere at all. Nothing else will. After usage you just rinse it and its clean and dry. Fot the newer model, the handle is thicker to offer you a good grip and the pan is a little bit deeper. The Thermospot is right on, the outer coating is proven to last very long and base has some nice patterns to get even heating. Overall a very-very good product. Not to mention it's about $16.

This is a good tea-kettle. Unpacked it out of the box, did a few boils to get the factory taste out and it's been working fine for the last few months with no plastic taste. I drink a lot of tea. I used to use Braun (can no longer find them) before which I liked but am liking T-Fal as well. I don't really have the need to use the variable temperature feature on this kettle but can see the benefit. The kettle feels durable, made of good quality and holds a good amount of water (1.7 liters). The holding tanks opens with a latch from the top and small click on the handle starts the boiling process. Boils pretty fast, using 1750 watts of power. Kettle looks pleasant to the eye. If it's 50$ or under,would definitely recommend buying it at that price.

A little heavy and bulky compared with the Bodum IBIS it replaced, but it has a feeling of quality.



The AC power connection looks like it is better designed than the Bodum and the switch mechanism looks more robust (time will tell).



The variable temperature feature is nice for the coffee drinkers in the family who dont want boiling water as I do for my tea.

I removed the kettle from it's carton,read the instructions,attempted to heat some water to no avail. After calling the T-Fal customer service number,I was instructed to fax my receipt to them (cost $2). They mailed me a

return address label (4 days later). I had to drive 20 miles to a UPS Store to return the defective kettle to the

T-Fal "repair facility". After three weeks without a kettle, I again called T-Fal customer service. They advised

me that the repair of my new and defective kettle would take 4-6 weeks.

Cooks and heats evenly. Cleans up easily on inside surface. Bottom of every unit has sharp grooves. These grooves can scratch the inside of another unit if you stack your cookware like I do. Also the grooves tend to collect burned on food and this is hard to get cleaned out.

the coating on the pots doesn't last long and is very delicate

I know you are supposed to handle it with care

but still- it should be long term

buying pots- you expect them to last for years

instead this one, maybe 2 years- that's it

Ive read recently that if you have cookware with non-stick coating you are supposed to change it every year- due to chemicals going into your food from the aging Teflon

I don't know about it, but I have Anolon pot and its very good quality



and they offer steaming with that set? will scratch the pots....

Finally got rid of all the wickedly unhealthy non-stick stuff. Use this line pretty much exclusively now, and use these pots on a daily basis. And, being Cuisinart, they're wonderful, of course :) About the only downside, it is a bit difficult to clean around the rivets, but I still feel its worthy of 5 stars. They're sleek, shiny, high-quality, and they get the job done. Wonderfully simple design. Wouldn't wanna be without 'em. {I recommend using wooden spoons to avoid scratching any cookware.}

I have been gradually buying pans from this collection, and have wanted this size for a while. It's great for making pasta for a small number of people, and it's perfect for home-made soup. However this particular item is of lesser quality than the other ones I have. The metal is thinner, including the base, and the handle is not nearly as comfortable when the pan is full - the ridges dig into my hand. I'm happy I have it, but a little disappointed also.

i've had my cuisinart chef's classic line of cookware for about a decade, but it was time to add something that was bigger than the 2-quart saucepan. i initially went for the 3-quart, but i'm so glad i went for the 4-quart which is nice and roomy. it's even handy for a 2-people portion of pasta, so no need for a gigantic pot! but if you're a wimp, you may need two hands to handle it.



also, the design has changed. it's better riveted so the handle doesn't get as hot as the previous models did. if you're an avid cook, you could probably use it without potholders, but since i'm a wimp, i required potholders. oh, also fits under the cuisinart steamer.

We have been using this pot for a few weeks and are very happy with it. We've cooked risotto, soup and a few other things. The bottom heats evenly and is great for sauteing onions. It's large enough to do medium batches of soup but a very manageable size in a small kitchen. The handle stays cool.

This saucepan is very convenient for everyday use and the glass lid comes in handy too. The handle does not get hot so easily so don't worry.

It is oven safe too up to a certain temperature (I guess 350deg).



The only drawback is being a non-stick pan, it requires special care so as not to scratch the surface with metal spatulas. Use wooden spatulas and you will never have any troubles with this.

I love this saucepan! I have been slowly replacing old pans with Calphalon, which I love too, but I didn't want to pay $30 or more for just a saucepan; this one is wonderful and I loved the price! I read the reviews first and couldn't be happier, easy to clean, feels good in the hand, love the glass lid...I was concerned about the handle, since I often have dermatis on my hand, didn't want something that hurt, cutting into my dry skin, but not this handle, really quite comfortable to hold.

I like it so much, I am thinking of getting another one, just to have on hand.

I was very pleased when this set and pan arrived as looks nice in appearance. A little lighter than other annodized cookware but was sturdy for the price. I was surprised when I used the pan for the first time to warm up some soup using nonscratch utensils made for nonstick cookware and the pan still scratched!!! I read some other reviews in which folks had trouble with the nonstick. I suppose it is like a new car - some just get made on a bad day or are defective from the start. I have not used it since as afraid to ruin it but just sitting on the stove looking pretty doesn't do me much good either! Now, I wish I had just gone with the stainless steel instead of the nonstick as afraid all my pans will do that. Other than the nonstick coating, I do like this pan and set. Clean up was a breeze and cooks evenly etc.. I am just afraid that the set will not last and I'll be looking at having to replace these after minimal use. Seems like right now too the department stores have great deals on cookware that are comparable or better quality for even lower price. If you are familiar with "Silverstone" cookware or "Wearever" brand, these nonstick cuisinarts are just slightly heavier/thicker. This line of cuisinart pans are $10-$15 dollar quality pans and good if you are able to find them for that price. The Chefs Classic Nonstick line is not the same quality of for example calphalon or even the simply calphalon brands. I am rather surprised that they carry the cuisinart name but imagine they developed a lower quality low cost pan to attract customers.
