A clever design for straining, pouring or covered cooking. The lid has a deep rim with optional straining holes. To strain, line the holes up with the pan's pour spouts and strain with ease. For covered cooking, rotate the lid to close the holes and moisture will stay inside the pan. To pour, remove the lid and use the pour spouts that are built into the pan body.

I bought this for my mom who wanted a light weight yet sturdy cooking pot.
This fits the bill-it is like the old one that we have used for 40years.
I bought myself one too for the next 40 years.

The Farberware brand name and other words carved into the bottom of the pot decreases magnetic induction. We ran a side by side test with an All-Clad. The All-Clad boiled water three times faster. Now we use this spouted pot only as a big ladle.

I have a set of Caphalon and I can honestly say I prefer this little pot. It's the perfect size for cooking my 15 month olds dinner and the pan cleans up and looks like new. I use this little pan everyday.

This pan is easy to clean, the drain holes in the lid mean kids can drain pasta easily - this is our go to pan for quick uses. We call it the "tiny pan" and everyone uses it often. I would buy more from this line if I needed other sizes.

I like this size, which can fit to my small shelf in the kitchen.
I cook Japanese instant noodle and Yakisoba (w/ egg w/o water), and they don't stick to the surface like I was worried.
I can only cook 1 noodle at a time.
